I'm not getting Xtension Discussion since Aug

I have to admit, I’ve been a little surprised at the length of time that James has been absent.  I know that this started during the core of Covid, while his (physician) wife was sent to another place to assist in hospitalized cases.   And at times, I see snippets of what is going on, on his end of things.   He stays very busy and I’ve tried to understand that XTension is probably more of a hobby to him rather than his main business.  And I understand his frustration, with Apple not maintaining AppleScript the way that it should.  But I do try to stay out of James’ way as much as I can.  He’s had some major projects going on at his home and I’m hoping that the reasons for his absence are those, and not something more dark like a health issue, etc.

Since Michael took ill and then passed, things haven’t been the same on the List.   I’m still very impressed at the capabilities of XTension and what James has added over the years  …Taking XTension way past what Michael’s original goals seemed to be.   I try to add something here and there and find that, instead of asking that some capability be added to make my life easier, it has already been added and I just need to find the ability on the Wiki page.

I’ve sent James a personal note about my concern.  I sent it in a bit of haste and then sent another note, trying to clarify when I really meant, this morning.   If he lets me know anything, I’ll try to relay his thoughts to all of you.
