Just as a point of interest, this suggestion fails on Catalina:

> I am questioning the use of that path. The right way to do things is to install the kext into /Library/Extensions, then on reboot the system copies it into /System/Library/Extensions.

After reboot the kext was definitely *not* coped into /System/Library/Extensions

This is getting crazy! So I disabled the system integrity as evidenced by:

csrutil status
System Integrity Protection status: disabled.

And yet, I STILL can’t copy the kext into /System/Library/Extensions/ :

sudo cp -R CM15.kext /System/Library/Extensions/
Password:
cp: /System/Library/Extensions/CM15.kext: Read-only file system

Need help here - I’m leaving this place tomorrow morning and REALLY want to get this working!

Any ideas??
