Good morning Jim!

For your XTB-232 what kind of USB/Serial adaptor do you have? I would recommend any of the inexpensive FTDI chip based ones. They are available everywhere for around $20 but should specifically say that they have an FTDI chip in them. There is a driver for that already built into MacOS and once it’s plugged in it should just show up in the port popup of the edit interface window. If you don’t see an entry there for it then it likely needs a driver from the company. Some USB/Serial devices are easier to find the driver for than other but if we know the brand of the device you’re trying to use.

Do you also have your MR26 connected over a USB/Serial adaptor? the CM19 is native USB so it doesn’t need an interface, but the MR26 was a serial device. Though it’s early in the morning and I’m just starting my first cup of coffee so I might be remembering that backwards ;) So you do need to select the serial port created in the system by the USB/Serial adaptor.

Tell us more about your USB/Serial devices and we can figure out how best to get you going.
