key fobs

OK, so, as I stick toes in the waters of reentry...
What are folks favorite key fobs nowadays?
In the past, I liked the X10 4 button ones, which often came free with
things on their various sales. But, never upgraded to a w800 or similar
- just survived on the plug in transceivers. And, if I have any
transceivers or fobs left, they're in a box I haven't seen in over a
decade. So assume I have nothing along those lines.
I have ordered a vera Plus, so by end of day tomorrow, I should be able
to use ZWave and Zigbee options. But given my range issues, I'm
planning to build out mostly with ZWave. It's lower frequency should be
able to navigate the farm better. I think something around 4 buttons
would be ideal (much more and you don't want a key fob), and like idea
of click and double click options, with hold and tripple+ click being
possible nice to haves.
I like the looks of the FIBARO FGKF601 and, to a lesser degree, the
aeotec key fob. But neither fares well in Amazon reviews, and both are
fairly pricey. I'd be looking for two - one for me and one for my wife,
mostly for changing "modes" more that directly controlling anything,
though there are a couple of gates we might want to motorize so we don't
have to get out of the car to get in/out of the driveway at some point
down the road...
Thanks!
