Antenna Placement and Amplification

Antennas are special indeed. The physics is completely understood and simple
enough to state, but nearly impossible to apply directly in practice. So
various tricks are used, which then means you really need to have a "feel" for
it.

Something which I just don't have, as attested to by my dismal grade in
Travelling Waves back at Harvey Mudd.
