Try building this antenna (thanks James for finding that link)

Put it in your attic. Put the distribution amplifier as close as it’s convenient to the antenna. Then run coax to the W800. I think that will work for you. It should have no problem seeing motion sensors situated below it. Seeing outside sensors will be dependent in what your walls are made of but I think this placement will improve your odds of success.
