Brendan,
Please drop me a note off the list with the version of VP that you’re running, a screenshot of the preferences window in VP where you’ve selected the folder for the video archive directory and if you can also gather the log lines that are printed when you startup VP that would be helpful too. It should log some info in XTension when it initially tells XTension where the directory is. Something is obviously blowing up this process and I can’t see from here yet what that is.
I may need to send you some debug build versions of one or other app to properly collect some more info if I can’t see it from that.
