Hooking Up an XTB-232 with a Keyspan 19 HS

Well, I’m embarrassed. I can’t get my Keyspan USA-19HS USB to Serial adapter recognized by my new Mini. This subject has been on the list at least once a month with more than one answer.
I’m finally in the process of installing a new faster Mini for XTension from another fast Mini I bought earlier this year. That was a plug N play installation from a 2009 Mini. Today… it ain’t Plug N’ Play! :-(
Because it worked fine with another current vintage Mini, and after spending 3 hours trying to debug it, l then spent another two hours studying James’ web page on it’s installation, I still can’t get it to be “connected.” Also because it worked up until a few hours ago, I’m assuming I’m not suffering from a FTDI problem. Right.
Here’s a screen shot of what I do get, and as you can see the Keyspan Serial Assistant does see it, but network Prefs can’t connect it.
I know this is got to be something simple, but I haven’t found it.
Can anyone identify where my problem is so I can get this XTB-232 back up and running?
Thanks,
George
