Dear Michael, et all,

RE: "Now the first obvious thing is that three of the units are on the same breaker, so when this happens again, and all the units above don't work, I can unplug the mantle lights and the screen separately to see if that corrects the situation. That will give me a starting point."

Well, it happened again, and I performed the above with no better results. The 3rd X10 item on that breaker is a regular single phase X10 dimmer BBQ switch which was already swapped out earlier this year, or last year (I can't remember) when I thought it might be defective, but it wasn't, so I don't think it's the new one either, and because it's an outdoor (Sealed with tons of silicone) switch, I really don't want to replace it again.

I'm sorry, but we were just getting used to the "happiness" again for some two weeks, when I know the only thing I did was turn on and off that Mini firewall. I understand your position.

But, though directed to the Apple Tech Support discussions about the fact that Disk Utilities does not repair the pages and pages of permissions it does find… says it's repaired… and then I run it again (Even after rebooting) and it continues to find the same long list.

How can this be right?

Thanks,

George
