OSX Mavericks?

James & Michael,

First off...

I have been having so many goofy things happening with my system, I haven't been able to do some important tests James recommended a while back on my XTension DB. I am closing in on the (Presumably electrical) problem which presently is the fact that a new 120 VAC GFI breaker or even a new whole house filter on both phases, this time the Leviton 51120-1, can totally discombobulate about five of my X10 unit's signals if left connected in my breaker box. The units are on both phases. This has been very odd.

I have been working with Jeff Volp to identify signal suckers with my Monterey, (Having already found and eradicated almost all noise in the house and since then enjoying 3-7mv of noise throughout the house) and have found three new little sucker spots receiving less than one volt of X10 signal. They, too, have now been addressed, however, one of them was our new washing machine for which I installed a 15A fuzed plug in filter which soon fried the fuse. I haven't had a chance yet, but installing an XPF filter at the breaker box on this dedicated breaker might resolve that.

It's all very mysterious, as things have been working correctly for 2.5 years. Obviously, something new, electrically has happened, but I've yet to track it down.

The real reason I'm writing today is to confirm that XTension is 64 bit compliant so it will run with the new Mavericks. I think I remember reading that James did this sometime ago, but my search on the list couldn't find any confirmation. I have developer friends that suggest this new OS might help my XTension woos. That just doesn't seem reasonable to me.

Thanks,

George
