Yeah, haven't recorded any video yet, but I'm thinking it should be sufficient for security use. I have been happy with the record rate on the Airsight cameras I have, so if it's similar, it should be fine.

I do have a CM19a and a couple of other receivers, so let me turn on the wireless connection on the Sentinel and test it. 

My thought (originally), was to have a direct video connection to avoid nefarious interception and other possible interference that would degrade the signal.

That being said, if I recall correctly, I believe that the supplied Sentinel remote would allow PTZ regardless of it being wired or wireless.

If you can run a wire then you can keep all your cameras on all the time with a little re-wiring.

Yeah, that was kind of what I was thinking. With a wireless receiver, I could connect multiple cameras wireless through one, but haven't thought it through for when I actually deploy them "in the field". A little rewiring would work, too.

My ultimate goal is to have this uber-system that record motion when sensed from each camera, with XTension doing the work; an also being able to monitor them live if need be through WebRemote. Great stuff!
