Incandescent supply running out - Halogens OK

I actually had problems with some noisy halogens and went back and replaced all my halogens with incandescent about 5 years ago. I have a couple of X10 testers that shows some level of noise on the line. When I ditched two halogens, all the noise went away. Hopefully they are better now.
That said, I've been replacing incandescents with Phillips and Cree LEDs and have had minor dimming issues, but nothing that I couldn't work through. I've been pretty aggressive about that since I'm preparing my house to be operated by a generator in the even of a power outage, and LED lights really help reduce the power requirements.

Now, the redesigned lamps available are 53w with the lumen output of the old 75w lamps. This makes them efficient enough to pass the ban on low efficiency incandescents.
