A short interruption in recently restored service..

Just tying everything down and doing small engine repair on the generator ahead of the approaching storm. Won’t be a hurricane or anything when it gets as far as me but I’ll probably be offline for a bit till all the power gets back on and I can stop re-arranging stuff on the porch or bringing it in before the storm hits, tomorrow afternoon into Friday. Storm tracks keep shifting it further out to sea from here, which is good, but also means it wont have been weakening over land for as long as I’d like. Still no chance of being anything like a hurricane and storm surge even at high tide tomorrow is, so far, estimated as a little less than Irma and we were well above the worst here back then. Unless it changes a lot we will not be looking at anything worse than probably a power outage and some potential low level wind and or flooding rain damage.

So I haven’t disappeared, just temporarily inconvenienced. Will get back to you all soon.
