In response to the question from Michel:

Hi,

I used Homebridge and a plugin (Homebridge Kumo) to get access to the controls of a mitsubishi mini split. Then I set up a pseudo in Xtension, added it to a homekit interface, and followed the protocol outlined by Brian Williams to add an automation to that pseudo in Home Kit to get rudimentary control of the mini split in XTension, and can use Siri voice commands. It is not full control, but I can turn on Cool mode to a pre-chosen temperature, and turn it off. Same with Heat mode. I now have two XTension homekit interfaces/Bridges and one Homebridge Bridge running on the same machine.

This was my first attempt at using Homebridge and it went pretty well. if you Google "Install Homebridge on macOS" you should find the instructions and needed downloads. Once that is done, look for the verified plugins list and find Homebridge Kumo.

Works in Home Kit with access to set temperatures and other features. And the XTension pseudo allows rudimentary control so I can integrate this HVAC unit with all the other things XTension manages. However, if you use the Kumo cloud app to control the unit, the pseudo does not update.

Hope this info us useful to someone,
Rich
