Is the driveway flooded?

Don't over think this. I have remote cameras running off a solar 
panel/battery transmitting with ubiquiti nanostations for ranges up to 
1/4 mile.  On our creek  we use an old survey rod for water depth and 
check the camera as required.  Not all that useful anymore as we built a 
ford where the water flows over the road. Used to be deep with a 25ft 
wide path, the ford is about 150ft and we might get a depth of 6 inches 
after a heavy thunderstorm.
