HomeKit <> XT unit challenges

Hello James,

I have a number of thermometers via a Barionet 100. One such unit is , "**Outside Rear Garden”. I would like to add that to Home such that Siri can report its value when asked.

I have added the unit to my Home list, configured it as Temperature Sensor in C, Applied, and Updated Config. The log confirms the update of the config. However, the unit does not appear in Home. The interface has been cycled as well.

Another XT<>HomeKit unit that challenges me is having a unit that is a measurement (such as current load in watts) represented in Home. Although that unit has shown itself in Home, it is presented as 100% rather than the current value.

I wiiI am running XT v 1046 on macOS 10.15.7

Please advise.
