Multiple receiver glitch

I haven’t changed anything with those interfaces or the implementation of “multiple interfaces” in some time but that doesn’t mean I haven’t broken it somehow. I assume that you’ve already just quit and restarted XTension once to make sure that there wasn’t something goofy with the internal indexing of units which would be all rebuilt upon the next load ;) Of course I’d want to know if that actually solves the problem or not as it would indicate that things can get indexed improperly and I’d want to fix that too it would just better show where to start looking if that was the case.

The easiest way that things could get broken is if you had to create a new interface instance for the secondary receiver for any reason. The settings in the units are not by name of the interfaces otherwise it would break every time you renamed something, so if there is an entirely new interface you’d have to go through and select that in all the units.

So firstly please verify that one of the units that has had a second one created incorrectly is assigned to your main interface and has the secondary one selected under the Assign Multiple button.

Then please collect for me the database info for both the real unit and the one that was created incorrectly at the same address. To do this just hold the option key while you right click on the Unit in any list to reveal a couple of extra debugging entries in the menu and select “Log Debug Info” then send me off the list the long log output for both of them and I’ll see what else I need to figure out whats going on there.

I’ve got 2 W800’s here and an old RFX device all receiving things and of course it hasn’t done this to me yet ;) Thats always how it goes…

Thanks,
