Beta build of XTension 9.5 with more of the new video system

Good morning!

I’ve uploaded a Beta build of XTension 9.5 as the new video subsystem deserves a whole sub number update. I’ve spent a lot of time on the Wiki pages for it as well and there are several new options since the last release. I am using it now exclusively for my own video handling. 

Things that are not implemented yet are support for the event data that is shown in the web interface from the old one and a few other things that I want to do but that are additional rather than necessary.

There are currently 3 camera API plugins to choose from, the older Foscam cameras, the newer Foscam Cameras and the Amcrest camera api. Note that Amcrest makes a lot of cameras that do not support any of that, their whole smart home or security line seem to be rather limited in what you can do locally with them at all and they seem to be completely dedicated to cloud connections but I haven’t explored in detail yet.

If there are other camera systems that you are using that you know have an API documented, or suspect that they might let me know and we can add some more API plugins as we go forward. There is now a separate plugin API for those plugins that extend other plugins ;) 

The beta build has only a couple of other minor changes from the last release, so should not cause any new problems. It probably wont fix any other existing ones that aren’t part of the video system.

Now while that percolates a bit I can get back to some of the other backlog of important plugins, features and support.
