Turn On Kasa/TP-Link HS220 problem

I’ve installed two Kasa/TP-Link HS220 dimmable switches for bathroom lights.

The Kasa app on my iPhone operates them as expected.

XTension can turn them off, but not on.  When I try to turn one on, I get:


Switch is not responding (“SmartDimmer object has no attribute ‘set light state’)

Any ideas/suggestions besides my digging into the Python code?
