More Weeder Funnies

I wrote an extensive explanation of the state of my Weeder  Digital output board and also asked about the proper way to hook up a digital input board since the output board was so different and using the negative side of the circuit for switching. My first email came back all in gibberish.

I’ve tried both ways on the digital input board and I can’t make it work. In the off position each point gives me about +4 1/2. VDC and in the  on position about  +12 1/2 VDC. Those specs don’t meet Terry’s published specs and I’m wondering how I get this done.

I’m guessing in the  off position it really turns the point on and vice versa?
There is no relay board involved in this project and I really can’t figure out how to negatively wire the points like I could with the output board which uses an eight channel relay board.

Can you please tell me how to wire and program it.
