Dee Dee,

It’s my understanding that you can “tilt” these internal rods so you can get various shade of dim as the rods move.  There was a potentiometer that regulated the current to the film allowing the expected result.

Yeah James.. I haven’t looked at it in a long time.  But again, there was someone on this list that was investing in the company and, thought that they might read this and chime-in.
