Jerry,
There are lots of stuff that I use that is not supported by Vera. I wouldn’t worry about that. Jasco uses standard Z-wave plus with S2 encryption and should connect just fine. My whole house is full of Jasco products.

I had to drill a hole in the outside of the case because every now and then it loses connection. Without the hole I had to take the cover off every time to reset the unit. Drilling the hole made it so it isn’t weatherproof. As an added bonus it gives me the temperature which is measured INSIDE the box. The engineers are so inept that they didn’t realize that when electricity is flowing the inside of the box heats up so the readings are totally worthless. It can be 35º in the pump house but in the box, with no electricity being used, it can be a nice 50º. The range is not all that great. I had to cut a hole in the inside wall of the pump house to make it more reliable from the main house which is about 100 feet away (no obstructions except the two outside walls. The unit in the house in the utility room is less that 30 feet away from the controller and loses connection also. https://aeotec.com/outdoor-z-wave-switch/ <https://aeotec.com/outdoor-z-wave-switch/>

Then it has the external antenna which I am sure increases range and reliability. It also appears to leave out such worthless data as temperature readings inside the box.
