X10 Funnies, Episode 3,478,609

Hi George,

The ANR should blink once every two seconds or so when there’s no X10 traffic (I think it does bright flashes to indicate traffic). If it blinks multiple times it’s 10 mV of noise for each additional flash. So if it’s blinking 5 times every 2 seconds that’s 40 mV of noise (too much).

I plug the ANR in near the breaker box then track down which circuit is causing trouble by turning breakers on and off. Once you know which circuit, you can then move the ANR to that room to track the problem down.

150 filters is a LOT of filters! I doubt you need anywhere near that many.

Good Luck,

Dave

I also have a whole house 240 vac Leviton filter.

As I recall, the LED's will flicker when ever there is X10/XTension traffic on the line, or when there is lot of noise on the line.
