Pool and door alarms

We’ve starting a pool construction on Friday.  We have no small children but I know that the county code will require us to install door alarms on the sliding glass doors leading out the back of the house.

I’m curious if anyone has connected these to your XT machine?  I’d rather have a sensor that announces, “Back Door Open” but I’d be inclined to think that it’s not something a county inspector would allow.

So, anyone with knowledge…. I would appreciate any help or insight that might be given!
