Philips Hue Update and iOS Update now not home integration

Brian, thanks for doing some digging.

Ok, perhaps I have found the culprit for my problem but I am not sure how to solve it.

I have 5 HomePods, 1 iPad and 1 Apple TV.  I had originally setup the Apple TV several years ago as the “Connected” Home Hub.  The Apple TV is wired to the Ethenet network that the Hue Hub is wired to, and the Xtension machine is also wired.  Since setting up the Apple TV as the Home Hub I have:

• changed my network scheme so that the WiFi network is IP’ed differently than my wired network
    • My router for internet connectivity and hard wired devices has one IP range
    • My WiFi router has a second IP range
    • This is mostly because I have been too lazy to reset everything to the same IP address range
• Added the 5 HomePods to the WiFi network

As I review my list of Hubs & Bridges I see that one of my HomePods is now the “Connected” hub and my Apple TV is now on “Standby”.  My theory is the Home Kit Hub that is in control(connected) cannot see the Hue bridge or the XTension bridge because they are on different IP ranges.

Based on what I am reading, it appears that I need to get my network, both hard wired and WiFi on the same IP range for the devices to see each other.

Before I begin the work, can anyone confirm my theory?

Cecil
