Thank you Philippe, I am not actually using the shared scripts in my system at the moment so I hadn’t noticed that they were still broken.
Please give this version of the plugin a try. There is also a build for the Raspberry Pi so if you’re using that you’ll want to update that as well.
you can download just the Alexa plugin from:
https://MacHomeAutomation.com/files/alexasudo.isf.zip
This does require the latest Beta version of XTension in order to work, please don’t try to install this into the previous release version as it will not work there.
Same dance to install a plugin beta as usual, you don’t have to quit XTension but you do have to disable any Alexa interfaces that you’re running. Download and unzip the file above.
control or right click on XTension in the Finder and select “Show Package Contents” then open the “Contents” folder, then the “Resources” folder and finally the “Plugins” folder. Replace the alexasudo.isf folder with the one you downloaded above and then re-enable your Alexa sudo instance.
Hopefully your scripts will again be working normally.
The same problem affected the new raspberry pi code, so if you’re running that you can just re-follow the instructions for installing it onto the pi. I’ve updated the version on the server to this new build and so just downloading and installing it again should solve the problem there. Again you should stop the alexa pi interface before replacing the code and then re-enable it when you’re done. The direct link if you prefer is at:
