Sidewalk Cameras on two monitors

I’ve been pondering something for a while now that thought perhaps some of you might give me some idea on.
We have two small dogs that do their business in our front yard. As small as they are, you’d think that people would just laugh when they bark at them but not, I’ve had people run out into the street to avoid my dogs. The dogs are wagging their tails but people don’t recognize that part, just the barking. The bottom like is that I’m afraid that someone is going to injure them in some way. The house isn’t designed that we can see people walking down the street before I let the dogs out. Sometimes in the Winter, I let the dogs out by themselves.
So what I would like to do is set up some camera, mounted on the soffits, that look over the front yard and also down each length of the street. But I would like to have one/two small monitors over the front door that would always show the video of those two cameras. But I’d also like to feed them into a system where I could view them remotely.
A POE Camera would be the best solution for an internet based system but, would I be able to have a constant video feed to these two monitors at the same time?
I would like to set up POE Cameras all around the house for security as well. Can I use a system and just split off those two cameras for viewing?
Thanks!
Jp
