Wow, $1000 for a weather sensor!!!

I have to always think of eagles whenever I mount anything. They have destroyed at least 4 Oregon Scientific weather stations, specifically the anemometers, by perching on the arm holding the anemometer. I have repaired most of them and fabricated arms out of steel and fiberglass. They still break or bend them. I can’t make the arm to big or it will deflect the air and give false readings.

My wife just told me to buy the Tempest Weather system. I am not getting any younger and she says I can’t take my money with me. I guess this is Merry Christmas to me……

I will update the group once I have enough info for a report.

James, can this data be ported into X4X or Vera?
