The duplicate units that I’ve been talking about with lately on the list are limited to the new Barix plugin. The Vera UI7 plugin has not changed appreciably, only a tiny bit of extra sanity in handling certain rare devices that the vera doesn’t like and sends weird things. If you’re converting between the old and new interfaces then there may be new units created or units that weren’t converted properly might have a new one made as a duplicate. But I don’t know about that from anyone who has converted yet.
If things don’t settle down after the conversion from the old Vera plugin to the newer Vera UI7 plugin do please let me know the details of the kind of units they were and the kind of units that are being created in duplicate. If it’s only 1 duplicate leaving behind an older unit and it doesn’t keep making them then it’s a conversion problem and won’t recur. If it happens every time you reboot or re-enable the interface then something much more insidious is going on and I need to know about that too!
