I had one of my very old Oregon Scientific Temperature transmitters give up
the ghost so I went looking at replacements.
Just FYI, I found this Oregon Scientific BTHGN129 transmitter
<https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00LSOUX8Q/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_Kd9oCb0GHCQ66>
that has temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. I just set it up
and it works fine with XTension through my RFX.
It's only $15 while the old temperature transmitters like the Oregon
Scientific THN132N are $23 and more.
I may get one or two more. I did put in Energizer lithium AAA batteries
which are recommended for cold temperatures. I've found that those really
last 3-4 times longer than alkaline.
Enjoy,
--Mike
