upgrade to a Vera Plus

I have had a Vera Lite for a few years and recently purchased a Vera Plus.
I had both associated with my Vera account and could use the Vera App if I wished. I restored a backup of my Vera Lite to my Vera Plus and basically decommissioned it, although it was still on my Vera Account. I have been using only my Vera Plus with Xtension and everything has been fine. And, I could see my Vera Plus and all of my z-wave devices in the Vera App too.
Yesterday, I did a factory reset of my Vera Lite and now my Vera account has no Vera devices associated with it. Odd. The Vera Plus is still working and Xtension is happy, but the Vera App and my Vera account show no Vera devices and no z-wave devices.
I contacted Vera Support and they were not very helpful. Only told me that yes I have no Vera device associated with my account.
I hesitate to “add another controller” to my Vera account for fear that I will lose all of my z-wave devices on my Vera Plus.
It guess it does not matter to Xtension whether or not my Vera is associated with the Vera account, but I do occasionally use the Vera App and would like to have the Vera associated with my Vera account.
Anyone know if adding the controller is destructive? Meaning it would do a reset or something and lose all of my z-wave devices?
