VeraLite/Xtension Issues

I am guessing that it’s not actually getting in to the vera at all because of a user/password issue. Since you didn’t get the system units about how many lights on and off and doors locked and unlocked and such. Those should appear in XTension even if you have no units configured in the Vera at all. If it couldn’t reach the vera on the network that would cause a timeout or a connection failure message, but just having it continue to refuse connections due to a bad password might not.
Under UI5 you could set a user/password for the connection, but under UI7 I’m not sure about that. The option I have on my vera to secure the connection limits the connection to only through the cloud and does not let you connect locally anymore at all which is what XTension wants to do.
Please try just turning the “secure this vera” option off and see if you can get connected that way. If that works then I’ll experiment with turning mine on and see if I can get that to work or if there is some other issue with how I’m sending the passwords. Might be as simple as enabling digest authentication or something.
If that doesn’t help drop me a note off the list and I’ll send you a version that starts up in debug mode so we can see the messages that it might send during the initial connect.
