problem when sorting by address in the last release

Hi folks,

Just wanted to make everyone aware of a potential hang problem with the last release. There is a bug in the new listbox sorting code that could cause it to hang up and never exit if you sort descending (or maybe it was ascending it was hard to tell) by address in a listbox. It doesn’t always happen, so you may be fine during the launch and for some time later but if you leave a list window open with the content sorted in the proper direction by address it could hang up later when something triggers the window to resort.

If you’ve got list windows open sorted by address I recommend re-sorting by name or any other column until the next release which fixes the problem. If anyone really needs those lists sorted by address or is leaving town this afternoon and needs a fix right now I do have a build I’m running here that fixes the problem but with no other changes or new features that are likely to cause any new problems. Drop me an email off the list and I can send you a download link.

Sorry about that, I knew there would be some teething problems with that new listbox but didn’t quite expect something as bad as the potential to hang up the entire program.

Thanks,
 James
