ah ha! Yes, it definitely has something to do with it being a secure connection. Bob, are you connecting over an SSL connection? Or are you using a regular one?

If you’re using an SSL connection can you switch temporarily to an insecure one and tell me if it works?

I’m not sure it’s that the browser is refusing to show it because the cert is not third party verifiable, it feels like the data is never getting sent, there may be a bug in the SSL implementation for large files or something that I will need to track down. I haven’t noticed it because when I’m on my local network I use an insecure connection because it’s faster, I only use the SSL connection when I’m connecting from outside the local network and I almost always do that from my iPhone and not the desktop. I guess I’ve never actually tried to load a video remotely over a secure connection. That is definitely the problem but i’m not sure what yet.

I will test with chrome too since some of you say that works OK?
