Is the Find command broken?

The more I read the description of this the more confused I become :) Can you guys describe this to me again?

When you hit command-F in any window other than an edit script window you should get the global search dialog where it will search through everything. If you double click a script from that window then the script should open with the same text you entered into the global window in the search field that shows at the top of the script, and the first instance of it should be highlighted in the script. Then use the arrows or just hit enter to continue to walk through multiple instances of the search text in the script.

If you hit command-F while in a script window the search field will show for finding things in that script. At this point the last text you searched for, or nothing if you haven’t searched for anything since you restarted the app, will show up in the search field and you’ll have to change it to whatever you want to search for this time.

My initial read of the problem was that you were starting from the global search dialog and when double clicking a hit in the list it was opening the script, highlighting the first instance of the text but failing to put the text into the search field. Is this what you’re doing? Or are you not seeing it when you just hit command-F while already editing the script? I can’t tell exactly what you’re doing...

Again, I’ll key in a command F, and the search line appears, but the text I’m searching shows up in the script, not the search line.

Thanks,
 James
