Hi James,

To continue on the topic of intranet presence of devices: I understand it is still experimental and these things are a bit unpolished so consider these idea's for future work:

-It seems not to send an ON every time; I've turned a server OFF manually, it pings successfully yet I don't get an ON when the log states
"[serverIP] is available on the network"

-The interface doesn't seem to 'nice' the MAC addresses, I've got IP addresses, incomplete MMAC addresses and what not in the Alien Devices list.

-Maybe temporarily allow an IP for the address and then putting the MAC address in the description field? Or vice versa; enter an IP address in the description and when the address field is empty, let XTension put the MAC address in the address field?

Cheers,
Ard
