VeraPlus and Insteon

Well thats quite frustrating!
What kind of X10 interface are you using? In my testing with the insteon modem last year I had no trouble at all running it at the same time as an X10 interface in the house. The 2 things should be compatible on the powerline. The Insteon device IS capable of generating X10 signals too, but shouldn’t be doing so unless you’ve created that kind of unit and are sending it to the modem for control.
There are several possibilities, it’s possible that your modem is simply defective and that it’s generating tons of noise from already failed capacitors or something and will need to be returned to them.
Or it’s also possible that it’s simply got some very strange stuff in it’s internal memory and it just needs a nice clean reset. I haven’t explored the Insteon support in the latest UI7 version on the Vera at all, is there a way to ask it to do a total clear and reset of the Insteon modem? I would do that first before we start trying to debug why else it might be interacting with the X10 signals.
