Barionet 1-wire chatter

Actually I suspect one could replace the default program in the Barionet with a different one (written in their BCL language) to make it behave any way you like. 

This is left as an exercise for the reader. (Actually, it might not be that hard; it could be that a few simple changes would, say, decrease the reporting rate.)
