get current status?

The problem with that, is that if your computer doesn't start up for a week, your coffee pot could've been on all that time.
You need to have a script, that is conditional.
If no motion in the kitchen for 30 minutes then
Turn off coffee pot
end if
There are times that I don't restart my computer for six months.
