Raspberry Pi at $5 is very cool. But then so is Raspberry 2 at $35. So much we can do with these small systems.

But as for the windows system, even at $99 (or less), I’d still rather have a virtual system on my Mac. Why? The physical Windows system still needs lots of support - 
power supply, monitor, networking, Keyboard, everything I already have with my Mac. Plus it needs anti-virus software and some way to back up the data. Snapshotting
is simply not available in physical Windows systems.

With Fusion or Parallels, I get all the support and to top it off, a real processor (not an Atom). And I still only have one computer to carry with me.

For me it’s pretty clear, I’d rather stick with virtualization and not have extra boxes, monitors, keyboard, etc to clutter my desk…
