Veralite

Always so happy to get people on a recent version :)

The thermostat stuff in the Vera is a bit of a nightmare, how can every thermostat send different labels for the setpoints and such?!

if you can put the interface into debug mode and collect some polling of the thermostat I can see what the data is and possibly get it where it needs to go, and if it’s so antithetical to the rest of the logic then we can write a script in XTension to pull it out and put it into units.

There may be some magic they do on currentsetpoint vs the heat/cold setpoints and they might not all update in all modes or something frustrating like that.

Send me some of those captures off the list and I’ll see what I can find out about it. We may need to experiment with the mode state for energy thing, there are a couple of different ways it might be set and it’s not clearly documented…

You can force a poll of the thermostat to generate the log items once debug mode is on by doing a query from the command line for any of the units in the thermostat. Query “name of thermostat current temp unit” will do it.
