Correct XTension Installatiuon Proceedure

I’m presently running XTension v 8.5, and have no problem with it. I do understand your latest and greatest is v 907, and to my knowledge the wonderful new things you’ve added to it, I don’t use.

But I have two questions. I just bought a new super fast Mini that I want to use as my XTension server, and am wondering if I can or should just drag v8.5, my DB file and other items used by XTension over to the new machine. Some Apps you can do that, and some require a package download to properly install. I don’t think XTension is that way, but need to ask.

Second, I can also see the argument for downloading your latest and greatest which presumably can immediately use my DB file, but maybe not. It might require upgrading to a intermediate XTension, before upgrading to 907.

What is your advice?
