That version requires a pair of xBee radios to talk to XTension, but I now have an adaptor kit that will let you make the connection over WiFi. Cheaper than using 2 xBee radios but not quite as tested yet, new stuff. Let me know if thats something you’re interested in.
That device just velcros on to the front of the smart meter and reads the calibration pulses. Assuming your meter has a calibration output that we can find it’s a lot simpler than slipping coils over the feedlines in your electric box.
