Weather Station Software for the Mac

Hey, I'm late to this party but I had a thought: a lot of weather
displays show a "trend" arrow after numeric values such as temperature
etc. I.e., an up arrow for increasing trend, down (duh) for
decreasing, an a dash for steady. You could maybe get fancy and vary
the length or weight of the arrow for the strength of the trend.

Re: Weather Station Software for the Mac

No love for WeatherTracker? :)

But new release is coming soon. Working on support for WMR300 right
now as well as graphical upgrades like retina support.
I've changed the temperature and wind rose look.
Check out my real-time stations web page below to get a sneak peek at
the new graphics (hosted on my personal computer at home)
http://sueanddean.com:8090 [1]
Then click on the station's name to get to station's details.
Also working on alternative screens that are more graphic intensive
(like all temperatures will be in graph form and other graphics)
instead of text intensive and you can choose the screen.

Since I'm working on the code now it'a a good time to make any feature
suggestions.

A while back, we were discussing software to display and upload
Weather Data from a personal weather station to a Web Site and to
other places like CWOP and Weather Underground and PWS.

I mentioned that I used LWC2 software, but that it was discontinued a
few years back by the developer.

Well it appears that a company called Trixology had “obtained”
the source code, updated it, and sells it as “WeatherCat”.

It might be worth looking at if you are planning to purchase such
software.  (Also, I have heard some good reviews of WeatherSnoop 3.)
