Geofancy

I think it’s just that the alerts aren’t coming in either reliably or fast enough?

I also use this and it’s not 100% reliable, but it does work. Sometimes it says I”m home when I’m a block away, sometimes it doesn’t figure it out until i’m actually in the driveway but it does work.

I think the timing issues are due to the OS and I”m not sure that there is anything the app author can do about it if thats the case. I’ve read the API and it’s pretty straight forward from the app’s point of view. If the OS doesn’t call back to you on changes fast enough there isn’t anything you can do about it. If thats actually the case then I would expect any other app to be any better. Of course I could be wrong and it could be an individual app problem ;)

My confusion is probably because I seem to be having Geofancy working as I believe it should (and therein may be part of my challenge – my expectations.).
