sorting units according to last activity doesn't work properly

Yes, I agree. I think when I wrote that OSX was kind of underpowered rendering PDF files to display in the background all the time back in OSX version 10.0.something or other and I was concerned about continually updating the UI when you weren’t watching it ;) But I could probably revisit that now ;)
