I use a remote to control multiple lights in scenes run by XTension and another house code for some motion sensors to turn on outside lights and a couple of inside lights. If you have fewer than 16 wireless addresses you want to use, the TM751 is less expensive.
Additionally the W800 can have a real antenna wired in and get fantastic range. The reception is virtually instantaneous compared to the TM751 because there is no slow X10 transmission across the powerlines. It really does cut the time it takes to do anything more than in half.
It will also receive all the security devices as well as the wireless ones. So you can use door/window sensors, the bigger motion sensors and all the other security stuff too.
We like the W800 a lot.
Thanks,
