Hi Doug, it seems that this app doesn’t recognise the device out of the box.
PulseView does recognise the unit, but crashes on Run attempts.
Adapting the device (option 1) “is really simple” (not) according to:

Sigrok compilation failed with all sorts of files missing in the preamble to actual compilation.
I’m looking for my spare disk that holds Parallels to try options 2 and 1
And meanwhile I’m waiting for the other unit, of course.
