GeoHopper (iBeacon)

I have some of the beacons, so I thought I would play...
I downloaded the app, and it asked for my name and email, and then said it was waiting for verification. I got the email, clicked, whiz whirl, and after a while got taken to a webpage which said that my device was now registered... but the app never gets out of that loop. Quitting, starting again just starts everything over. Tried 3 times and gave up.
Of course my beacons aren't geohopper brand, and I have used them with another app that was able to see the beacons with no fuss. But I couldn't even get the Geohopper app to look at the device.
