I still use one in the bedroom to start my going to bed script and give me a readout on the status of everything in the house. Also use the ability to turn on and off the LED's in the pen to do alerts from XTension :) That one has recently died, well it's sort of still working but you can't really see the screen anymore. I'll be replacing it with a spare from the closet shortly. There are special X2Web templates that work well on really old machines that have no REST interface capability.
